Transfer from your hotel to our All Lao Elephant Camp
Arrive at our Elephant Camp and check into our Mahout Eco Lodge.
Register and receive a mahout uniform. Then begin your elephant trek into the rain forest and onwards to the Nam Lao-style lunch at our elephant camp restaurant.
Learn about elephant background, information and the mahout’s verbal and physical ‘commands’.
Meet your elephant’s mahout. Then learn how to secure the ‘howdah’ on the elephant’s back, how you should sit on it’s back and neck, and how to direct or control your elephant. Then practice your knowledge and experience with our baby and younger elephants. |
